A statement of the categories of documents that are held by the NCTE or under its control. The National Council for Teacher Education (Headquarters) and its Regional Committees hold the following types of documents:-

1. Act, Rules and Regulations The National Council for Teacher Education – Act, Rules and Regulations. This is a compilation of the NCTE Act, 1993, NCTE Rules notified by the Govt. of India and the regulations framed by the NCTE from time to time. A request can be made to the National Council for Teacher Education alongwith a Bank Draft of Rs.100/- in favour of the Member Secretary, NCTE for obtaining it by post. 2. Report Annual Report

3. Magazine
  • Indian journal of teacher education. This is an annual magazine on teacher education
  • Teacher Support – This is a magazine about innovative practices in teaching contributed by teachers and teacher educators.
  • NCTE Newsletter – This is a quarterly magazine about the activities of NCTE for the quarter.
