its First Amendment and Guidelines for Conducting TET

Notification (05 April 2010):  NCTE Appointed as an Academic Authority to lay down the Minimum Qualifications for Teachers.

Notification (25 August 2010):  Minimum Qualifications for a Person to be Eligible as a Teacher in Classes,  I to VIII in a School.  

Notification (02 August 2011):  Minimum Qualifications for a person to be eligible as a teacher in classes,  I to VIII in a school (1st Amendment).      
Guidelines for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be conducted by State Government / UTs.

Direction to the Stakeholders about certain Provisions in Minimum Qualifications. 

Inclusion of B.Com Graduates in TET with reference to Minimum Qualifications person to be eligible as a teacher in classes, I to VIII in a school.
Extension of time duration to complete TET
